Meet Dr. Mary Younan-Raof

Dr. Mary Younan-Raouf is a Houston native and a board-eligible periodontist who is excited to be building relationships within the local dental community. She was born and raised in Sugar Land and completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin before returning home to pursue her professional training.
Dr. Younan-Raouf earned her Master of Public Health and Doctor of Dental Surgery at UTHealth, where she participated in the Honors Periodontics Program and developed a strong interest in surgical care. She continued her training at the UT School of Dentistry to complete a three-year residency in Periodontics along with a Master of Science degree. During this time, she received multiple scholarships and research awards, including the H.G. Tebo Endowed Scholarship and the regional Prichard Award.
Her clinical interests include periodontal disease management, implant therapy, soft tissue grafting, ridge and sinus augmentation, regenerative procedures, and sedation services. She values thoughtful, evidence-based treatment and believes that strong communication with referring doctors is key to achieving the best outcomes for patients.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Younan-Raouf, along with her husband Peter, is a proud parent to two young boys, George and Gabriel, who keep life full and busy with soccer practices, swimming lessons, and family time. Being both a clinician and a mother has deepened her appreciation for compassionate, patient-centered care and the importance of trust between providers.
Dr. Younan-Raouf is genuinely excited to collaborate with local general dentists and hygienists to support the care of shared patients. Her goal is to be a dependable partner and resource, helping make the referral process seamless while working together to provide thoughtful, high-quality periodontal and implant care for the community.
